tracks are the same great tracks from the previous Blu-ray releases and the option of a stereo fold-down is a fine alternative for those without surround sound capabilities, but the lack of a Dolby Atmos track is sorely missed. The lossless mix is impressive and terrifyingly immersive, one that raises goose bumps and will have you jumping off your seat. The Army of Darkness 4k Blu-ray comes in five flavors: limited edition Steelbook, regular blu-ray, and three bundles including a special box, posters, and enamel pins. Supplements are disappointingly the same set as before, but overall, the UHD package makes for a recommended addition to the 4K horror library. Granted, a twisted and perverse sense of humor would be the required precondition for enjoying this brutally bloody version as an animated carnival ride, but in this day and age, when remakes are a never-ending trend and quickly dismissed for being such, it's a genuine treat to have at least one memorable standout worthy of the original.

In the United Kingdom, it is currently more popular than The Long Night but less popular than Ban the Sadist Videos!MPAA and earned an "R" rating with this level of nastiness intact; the end scene in particular is quite difficult to stomach.

Being Mia – Jane Levy takes us through her various stages of makeup and the hell that ensued on a daily basis. Along with several horrifyingly shocking scenes of blood-splattered pandemonium and a strong story that flirts between original and imitative, Alvarez's 'Evil Dead' ups the ante with one spine-chilling moment after another. Imaging is broad and engaging with excellent, well-balanced channel separation and outstanding vocals which are never drowned out by the rest of the gruesome mayhem. Bound in human flesh and inked in blood, the ancient “Necronomicon” – the Book of the Dead – unleashes unspeakable evil upon mankind in director Sam Raimi’s (Darkman, Drag Me to Hell) outrageously hilarious third chapter in his Evil Dead Trilogy.

Super Mario Sunshine, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, and Batman: Arkham City are some of his favorites.
