The important thing I like about 50mm perspective is the "less distorted" view, especially when you shoot up close. The lens barrel is pretty plain: apart from the focus ring there are no buttons, dials or any other extras. One EM-1, 12mm, 25mm, and the 45mm would pretty much cover everything I do par bird shooting that needs longer lenses. Also, keep in mind that if you’re happy manually focusing, you can pretty much mount any lens onto a m4/3 camera with an adapter. DC DN, which, I guess, is truly meant for APS-C sensor, but it is supposed to be compatible with M43.

The lens feels sturdy, the design looks simple and when mounted on the Olympus OMD E-M10 it looks nice and feels perfectly balanced. One can use this lens for street, food, portraits, animal, fashion, product and almost all types of photography. It has something to do with how natural and now normal the images look and feel from this perspective. a perfect fit for “snap shot” photography, as you can easily take images as you see them without thinking about the composition of the photograph.

The Fujifilm XF 23mm F2 R WR delivers a 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view and stands out due to its small size and weather-resistant build.

Whether the scene is front lit, back-lit or when using it in low light the auto focus performance is a s good as any lens in the system. It gives you that little extra bit of protection, which is always more than welcome when you’re out on a hike or in drizzly weather. There is a light amount of chromatic aberration seen at all apertures, but it's mostly only noticeable in the corners and only in areas of high contrast.Have you run across any Nikon FF lens that you could say has very comparable characteristics (first of all, sharpness across the frame). field of view is termed as the most natural field of view which closely mimics the field of view of the human eye, hence making the Olympus 25mm an extremely versatile lens for almost all genres of photography. I am thinking of doing a side by side comparison between these two 25mm lenses, but this comparison (for my Part 2 of the Olympus M.
